Description

Our organic lavender hydrolate for aromatherapy is obtained entirely from the plant with the botanical name Lavandula Angustifolia. It is known as Lavender Organic Hydrolat among buyers outside the country. The raw material for distillation comes entirely from the aerial stalk of the plantations. Steam distillation keeps the aromatic profile pure, as the aqueous phase collects only the volatile constituents of the stalk, while the heavier substances remain outside the liquid. The light origin of the starting mass is also evident in the finished liquid, which ranges from colorless to slightly yellowish. The hydrolate presents itself as a clear and slightly free-flowing liquid. The strength of the scent stays within soft limits. The floral direction leads the overall scent, while the herbal side stands close beside it and gives the entire aromatic profile a restrained finish. The Lamiaceae family unites herbaceous and subshrub genera with a glandular apparatus on the stem. The aerial organs of the species bear capitate and peltate glandular trichomes, which absorb the volatile fraction even before the raw material goes into processing. Linalool and linalyl acetate are behind the characteristic aroma, while the other volatile compounds contribute to a lesser extent. The fields in Bulgaria are tended organically. It is also suitable for blends accompanying breathing techniques and practices for restoring inner balance, in which the certified origin of the raw material is of particular importance.

Storage

Store organic lavender hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 to 12 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for aromatherapy products, preferably dark glass, which protect the aromatherapy hydrolate from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
